About Us

I love my job as a Doctor of Chiropractic. I've been doing it for over 22 years now. 

I get to help people of all ages to feel better and to increase the proper function of their Nervous System. From orthotics, dry needling, whiplash and scoliosis care to spinal rehab, MLS laser therapy and other chiropractic services, I’m here for it all. 

It is such a reward to hear positive feedback from patients that what I do for them makes a difference. 

The opportunity came to us to buy the Sugarland Chiropractic Centre while we were still living and working in St Louis, Missouri, USA. My husband, Steve, is an Australian and thought it was time to move back to Australia, so we bought it and moved here in late January 2001. 

We moved our family of 5 all here. Our kids have grown and left Bundaberg after two sons finished year 12, and our daughter graduated from CQU with a Bachelor of Primary Education degree here. The closeness of the ocean in Bundaberg helped seal the deal of us being at this location. 

Steve and I often go fishing out in the ocean, and I love landing those big fish just as much as he does. To date, a 20 Kg Spanish Mackerel is the biggest fish I landed. My patients love the fish pictures on our walls and often wish us good luck for a Saturday fishing trip if it's coming up.

I am a mother to two beautiful boys, so the flexibility of our office roster system allows me the opportunity to spend as much quality time with my sons as possible.

Beginning my employment in November 2019, I am thoroughly enjoying being part of the team and interacting with our patients.

Out of the office, I love spending time with my family, cooking and spending time outdoors.

I started in August 2019 after many, many years of working in the retail/hospitality sector. I am very much enjoying the change of scenery and the challenges of learning a new role after having been a patient at the practice for a long time with all my family. 

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family. We love going away to watch NRL and Netball games. I also love to read and enjoy sewing and cooking.
